This year saw the release of the sixth part of the Dead or Alive 6 series of fighting games on PC and home appliances. Dengeki Online posted a meeting with producer and director Yohei Shimbori, who worked on the series 15 years ago, talking about the mistakes made by the development team.

First, Yohei Shimbori feels remorse for some decisions, so he quit the game after the release and left it to another trusted Ninja Team member to make the development more smooth and effective. One of these decisions is to force players to play a large number of games for getting the fashion of their favorite characters, the development team thought that this would help the players to professionalize the game, but it was not the case for everyone where it became a bit. Instead, there would be a certain number of hemorrhoids needed to get a particular costume. There will be more modifications in the future to facilitate access to fashion.

Yohei Shimbori wished that the costumes would be obtained only by playing, but he received requests to provide these costumes for purchase as an additional option. This may change the position of the development team from this point. Also, Yohei Shimbori wanted to release the free version of the game at the same time as the paid game, but due to the development process, the team did not know when he would be able to release the free version until shortly before its release. Because the date of publication is not definite on the official website, many did not know of the free version, something else that Shimburi feels sorry for.

The free version of the game has been downloaded more than 500,000 times and is growing similarly to that of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. However, the Team Ninja team is keen to continue to support the game for a long time.
